This 16th-century a cappella piece is contrapuntal, influenced by the sound produced by the larynx of a child with PDD autism who has a hypofunction of the throat. The melodic lines and harmonies may seem somewhat repetitive. Efforts have been made to preserve this quality so that the child can enjoy listening to it.
